WICKED REVIEW

WICKED REVIEW

Howdy people. So if you remember me tell you what I got for my birthday in June, you'll remember me mentioning that I got 2 tickets (for me and my mum) to go see Wicked. Well today I did! Let me run you through the day....

So this morning my Mum made me get up at like 8:15 am... ON A FUCKING SATURDAY! But this was only because we needed to get the 9:16am train to London Victoria.

My Dad dropped me and Mum off at the train station about 9. Whilst mum was sorting out the tickets I went and got a paper for her to read on the train. I also took a quick peep at the Prom book thing they had for sale and just browsed through the whole 6 photos from Mayfield's prom.

It took about 2 hours 20 mins for us to arrive in London (after a little delay at somewhere beginning with a H but I forgot the name) when we were pulling into the station I managed to get a quick glimpse at the London Eye, Big Ben, The Shard and the Gherkin building but couldn't be bothered to get my camera out to take photos.

Once we got out of the station we went and got something to eat and then took a stroll up to Buckingham Palace (was soo busy on the pavements!)

At 2pm we made our way to the Apollo Victoria Theatre and got our seats about 2:15pm. We sat in the dress circle, row P, seats 15 and 16 (which was quite high up but we had an amazing view!)

At 2:30pm the show started opening with the song "No One Mourns the Wicked" performed by Glinda and the Citizens of Oz. After that the order of the songs for the rest of Act 1 were as followed:

"Dear Old Shiz" - Students
"The Wizard and I"- Morrible, Elphaba
"What is this Feeling?"- Galinda, Elphaba and Students
"Something Bad"- Dr. Dillamond and Elphaba
"Dancing through Life"- Fiyero, Galinda, Boq, Nessarose, Elphaba and Students
"Popular"- Galinda
"I'm Not That Girl"- Elphaba
"One Short Day"- Elphaba, Glinda and Denizens of the Emerald City
"A Sentimental Man"- The Wizard
"Defying Gravity"- Elphaba, Glinda, Guards and Citizens of Oz

About 4pm they had a interval for about 20 minutes before resuming Act 2 and opening with "No One Mourns the Wicked" (Reprise) performed by the Citizens of Oz. The order of the songs for the rest of Act 2 were as followed:

"Thank Goodness"- Glinda, Morrible and Citizens of Oz
"The Wicked Witch of the East"- Elphaba, Nessarose and Boq
"Wonderful"- The Wizard and Elphaba
"I'm Not That Girl" (Reprise)- Glinda
"As Long as You're Mine"- Elphaba and Fiyero
"No Good Deed"- Elphaba
"March of the Witch Hunters"- Boq and Citizens of Oz
"For Good"- Glinda and Elphaba
"Finale"- All

The show finished at about 5:20pm.

MY OPINION!
I personally thought that this was one of the best performances on the earth! All the performers were absolutely amazing in their acting and singing. The lighting and sound effects used were outstanding as well and really added the right effects at the right moments. All in all I give this show a 10/10 and would definately return to see this as well as recommending it to others.

So that was my wonderful day in London.

Byee for now :)

HEATHER!

Okay so after reading James and Luke's blogs about Luke and Heather and their feelings and shit I thought I'd do one. (stealing your ideas boys feel honered it means I was inspired by you!)

HEATHER! hello beautiful ;)

Okay wow this is gonna feel like writing in your yearbook again. Right well we met in Year 4 ( I think all I know is that it was 7 (nearly 8) years ago) and you haven't been able to get rid of me :D. I remember running around the playground pretending we were spy's as if it was yesterday. I also remember when we went and saw High School Musical 3 together and went to Frankie and Bennies and discovered the wonderful chips dipped in Coke. MY GOD was that tasty! (that's what she said ;)) Anyway we both went up to Mayfield together and spent the next 5 years being taught shit we'd probably forget.

Let's not forget either:
-You were the one who introduced me to Starbucks and the Caramel Macchiato (yes I can spell it now! :D)
-We have had some fun times. We defeated magical boards of destiny and mountains together and found that troll sitting in West Quay Mcdonalds (wonder how he is...).
-I did forget to buy you food at Mcdonalds which I am truly sorry for :/

I could go on listing the amazing things we have done together but I guess I better leave it there cause I need sleep to cope with Year 6's and Charlie tomorrow :S SAVE ME!

But before I go let me say this:

Heather. You have truly been an amazing friend over the past 8 years. You are like a sister to me. It's a shame that we are going to different colleges but I know for definite that we will still see each other for regular Starbuck's and to do more wonderful shit. I think you and Luke are perfect for each other and hope your together for a long time (might even hear wedding bells in the near future). I just also wanna say how sorry I am for ever upsetting you or hurting you. It's never been intentional I guess I'm just not a very good people person. Heather you are amazing. Don't ever change for anyone. I will miss you terribly in college but will be thinking of you everyday. Enjoy life my big sis :) <3 <3 <3

BONJOURNO

Hellooo.
Feel  as if I haven't blogged in ages to be honest I have been really busy which I'll tell you all about.

So nearly all of last week was taken up by work except Friday. Friday was prom and by god was it amazing! Had such a fun time and took lots of pictures!!
Me and Heather

Saturday I was shattered though and was going to Chessington World of Adventures in Surrey. It was a good but hot day. I went on like 3 rides only cause I was so tired and really couldn't be bothered with the waiting.
Dragon Falls ( I didn't go on this, this time like I usually do :/)
Sunday we went to town and that was that.

All this week the Youth Mentors have been looking after ('babysitting' as I like to call it) the Year 6's, soon to be Year 7's.  The majority of the week has been pretty boring but yesterday was okay as they had a STEM day (don't ask me what it stands for because I have no clue!) which they did stuff about recycling. Last lesson they make clothes out of newspapers and plastic bags and did a mini fashion show which was probably the highlight of my week.

Today I think I'll be editing photos and watching movies. Then tomorrow Me and Holly might be going out, hopefully anyway.

Bye.

BIRTHDAY MEAL AND SHIZ

Hellooooo.

So yesterday was my birthday meal aver Heather, James and Luke. We were planning in going to Nando's but when we got down there it was shut. Turns out they're doing it up which Heather remembered her sister saying something about -.- anyway we resorted in going to Frankie and Bennies which was nice. After we walked down to the beach where my mum picked us up and drop them 3 home. It was a good day, bloody hot though. I got lots of nice, random pressies off of Heather (I told her to buy my random shit) and a nice card off of James and Luke. All in all it was good day.

LONG TIME, NO SEE!

Hello my wonderfully beautiful people!

I AM BACK! Miss me? of course you didn't you've had my wonderful friends (Heather and Luke) blogs to read. Anyway I am back after not bothering to post for a few days simply because:
1. I have been busy
2. I have been tired
3. I haven't been bothered

Anyway nothing much has happened, I starting working at my secondary school as a Teaching Assistant on Monday for 6 weeks. So far, 3 days in, it's been good but I am bloody shattered! It's so hard working with people younger than you, especially Year 8's! But it has been good so far.

After work/school/whatever you want to call it, I had Heather and Lucifer come round until 5. It was nice seeing them again, feels like ages since I have seen them! But we sat and chat and made Cheese toastiest and listening to Luke's rubbish music (if your reading this Luke, I joke!) And me and Heather had a little natter.

But besides that nothing much has happened really.

So I best leave you all to get along peacefully with your lives.

Au Revoir fine people.
